How to Protect Your Energy


We set our intentions to obtain and reflect the type of peace that we enjoy and that we need in our everyday life. Every encounter you have effects your energy, some positive and some negative. I am learning that you have to practice and work just as hard to maintain that bright energy.

These are some of the practices I have started to implement into my everyday life to keep me centered and my energy protected.

3 QUICK TIPS TO PROTECT YOUR ENERGY

1. listen to how your body responds around things, places, and people

  • have you ever gone somewhere or been around someone and you begin to feel that shift in your mood, your body language, your thoughts, your energy?

2. be in control; don't allow others to control your emotions

  • the saying is true "misery loves company"; some individuals are battling with issues internally and instead of addressing them or releasing them they project their feels onto you.

3. breathe; be wise on where you spend your energy

  • pick your battles; sometimes understanding someone and where they are mentally even if you disagree is enough
