3 Ways to Save

Whether you are saving for a goal, an investment, that international getaway or just because, we could all be more cautious about our spending.

1. Buy versatile clothing that you can wear multiple ways and at different events. When I was younger I could remember switching out my clothes for the seasons and storing them away. But it can get costly having a wardrobe for every season and every occasion. Buy items that you can wear to work or casually for a concert. Layer your seasonal clothing to make new outfits and find your own look.

2. Cook your meals at home instead of going out to eat. Eating out is a convenience and pricey once you add it up. Have breakfast at home and cook your lunch and dinner. Meal prepping can also help you save on time and money. Be open to the possibilities of cooking your own food. Pinterest is great for new recipes so that you don't feel like you are constantly eating the same meals.

3. Review your subscriptions and get rid of what you don’t need. I know I am not the only one that signs up for something that was a free trial and forgot to cancel it. And there are other subscriptions that I simply don’t need. So take some time to review your expenses and see where you can make cuts.
