Practicing Gratitude on a Hectic Schedule

Through all of life's worries and its constant movement and busyness, it is easy for our mindsets to shift to a negative space. Life begins to feel stressful and hectic even when we are doing all of the right things.
My life is already filled with abundance but when life is moving we forget to stop and take a breath to see the beauty in the simple things.
As part of my daily morning routine, I take a few seconds everyday to write and acknowledge something that I am grateful for. This new element in my daily routine was introduced to me through a friend and her personal experience while using the SmartLife PUSH Journal created by Charlene Johnson.
For at least 5 minutes each day I am still and mindful of all that I do have and the beauty of my everyday life. This has become a helpful tool for me, when I am pushing and things don’t seem to be moving or evolving, but they have. There are times I have to laugh because so many things are right, we just can’t always see it in the midst of our crazy schedules.
